Durham
Durham is a historic college town nestled along Great Bay at the mouth of the Oyster River. It is home to The University of New Hampshire (UNH) which is the state’s largest public institution of higher learning and contributes to Durham’s economy and culture. There’s something for all to enjoy in here. Durham residents love its strong community bonds, thriving downtown area, recreational activities and excellent school system. Many of the facilities at the University are open to public use which adds to the many activities that Durham has to offer, including tennis courts, an indoor ice-skating rink, hiking and biking trails, sports fields and more. Durham offers many perks of city living while maintaining its connection to history and community.
