Kennebunkport
Kennebunkport was historically a fishing village until a shipbuilding boom in the 1800s turned it into one of the wealthiest towns in New England. Kennebunkport offers residents a rural feel while being close to many recreational amenities. The town is centered around Dock Square which is located along the Kennebunk River and the Atlantic Ocean This historic village has grown to become a popular seaside destination with year-round events, activities and local commerce. Year-round residents get to experience the best of both worlds; the hustle and bustle of summertime with entertainment and thriving businesses, followed by the quieter fall, winter and spring to soak up the small-town community and ocean views in peace.
