Kittery
Known as the “Gateway to Maine” the coastal town of Kittery borders New Hampshire and is easily accessible by I-95. Kittery is the oldest town in the state of Maine, incorporated in 1647 and is home to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard on Seavey’s Island. Kittery includes Badger’s island, Kittery Point and parts of the Isles of Shoals. Many are drawn to this town for its factory outlet stores, variety of restaurants, small town charm, historical architecture and breathtaking scenery. The community of Kittery is dedicated to preserving their historic heritage and natural resources while providing an exceptional quality of life to its citizens.
