Finding something to do in Rochester is a snap. The Lilac City offers boating, camping, theaters, fine dining, bowling, historical tours, museums, family parks, sporting events and much, much more. With Dover right next door and Portsmouth just beyond that, you'll be hard-pressed to find yourself with nothing to do. And the thousands of blooming lilacs in the springtime are something not to be missed.
Rochester operates all its own schools in School Administrative Unit #54. In all, there are eight elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.
