Real estate is a bit like a puzzle—each property is unique, as is each buyer and seller. Fitting the pieces together for buyers and sellers draws upon my skills as a listener, a professional and a problem solver. Philosophy

Real estate is a bit like a puzzle—each property is unique, as is each buyer and seller. Fitting the pieces together for buyers and sellers draws upon my skills as a listener, a professional and a problem solver. As a real estate agent, I am my clients' partner, working closely with them to find that perfect next home or to sell their existing home on the best terms. I love to help my clients with these transitions, making all the pieces fit and the new picture complete.

Experience & Education
Being a Realtor calls upon my skills as a listener, a compassionate problem solver and land use/real estate professional. While a relatively new Realtor, I am not new to putting deals together. I have been a NH and Maine lawyer for over 28 years and have successfully managed many complex and high value real state and business transactions. I was chosen to serve as a member of NH’s Site Evaluation Committee where I adjudicated approvals of large energy projects such as major transmission lines and wind facilities after assessing their environmental, economic and other impacts . I am a 19 year member of Rye’s Zoning Board of Adjustment and am its long-serving chairperson. I have also served on Rye’s Planning Board, Plan NH Charrette Committee and Parsonage Apartments Committee. Through this work, I am well versed about property types, building and septic requirements, zoning, environmental impacts, including the unique challenges of properties near tidal and wetland areas. Prior to my legal career, I was an Assistant Vice President for a large investment company and a Certified Financial Planner. These experiences enable me to truly understand all facets of real estate and to deliver results for all types of buyers and sellers. They also taught me to listen, respect and appreciate relationships with my clients. I received my J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and my B.A. from Saint Michaels College.

Community & Personality
I was lured to Rye almost 30 years ago by my husband Bob, a fishing charter-boat captain, who spent his summers here as a child before making Rye his permanent home in 1980.  Together we’ve raised two great kids, Mark and Kate, both educated in Rye and Portsmouth schools and now off to college. Our Labrador Retriever, Bay, keeps me busy as does my volunteer work as the President of the Friends of Pulpit Rock Tower, for the Town of Rye, Gather and The Housing Partnership. When not working for my clients, I can be found outside enjoying our beautiful beaches and activities such as gardening, hiking, kayaking, cycling and nordic and alpine skiing.
