Our Communities
Rye
Rye NH is located on the Atlantic Ocean and includes the longest stretch of coastline of any NH Seacoast community. The town has a population of more than 5,000 residents who are committed to the preservation of open space and coastal resources. Rye offers exceptional quality of life and has one of the area’s lowest property tax rates (2024: $8.57). Everyone has a favorite beach…from rocky Bass Beach and Sawyers Beach (both sought-after surfing spots!), over to Jenness Beach and Cable Beach (family favorites), around Rye Harbor (commercial fishing port) to Foss Beach (great for dog walking), and up to Pirates Cove and Wallis Sands Beach. Abenaqui Country Club and Wentworth by the Sea Country Club are situated here, as well as the Beach Club and Surf Club, all of which offer private golf, tennis, swimming and social amenities. And there are endless opportunities to explore the trails which meander through the marshes, town forests and 300-acre Odiorne Point State Park. . Rye Beach Village District, known as ‘the precinct’ to locals, is regarded as one of the Seacoast’s finest neighborhoods—an enclave of pristine homes, from sprawling estates to cottage-style summer mansions, on commanding tree-lined roads with sidewalks and street lamps. It even has its own Post Office and zip code (03871)!
