Seabrook
Seabrook NH is a seaside town with about 9,000 residents. As a border community adjacent to Salisbury MA, it has a truly unique vibe compared to other Seacoast towns...from its beautiful sand dunes and beaches to retail shopping and The Brook Casino, Race & Sportsbook (the former Seabrook Greyhound Track) to many industrial parks, there's a lot happening here! Route 1A runs along the coast, parallel to the town’s legendary beaches (possibly the most beautiful in the state!) where you’ll find one stunning home after another...and then there are the side streets named after NH cities (Manchester, Nashua and Concord, to name a few), lined with cottages and small houses that are within a hundred yards of the beach. It’s a little slice of heaven for sun worshippers in the summertime! Beyond the beaches, the town has an excellent recreational center and several organized youth sports programs (including baseball, basketball and football). The property tax rate (2024: $15.09) is quite reasonable. Seabrook is part of School Administrative Unit (SAU) 21, operating its own elementary (kindergarten through fourth grade) and middle (grades 5 through 8) schools, and sending its high schoolers to Winnacunnet High School in Hampton.
