Wells

The town of Wells was founded in 1643, making it the third-oldest town in Maine. Located on the southern coast, Wells spans 73 square miles and is home to roughly 10,000 residents. Wells is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Maine and is scattered with historical architecture and is also known as the Antique Capital. Besides the beach, the list of recreational amenities goes on and on, including miles of walking trails, nature preserves, golf courses, farmers markets and world famous restaurants to enjoy year-round.
